SMART DRAGON. The owner shut and ran once before so he gives him half cash and half loan. So when he screws up again Dragon can take and run the show. He gave the guy a chance with little risk 200,000 to him is worth pennies. PLUS he gets a good company brand etc and can own the now owner as a designer when he messes up.

Yay Modrobes! I'm so glad someone dove in and gave him the capital. I still have my fave Modrobes hoody (from 2001!)
Smart that he didn't give control to the guy with the money who didn't 'get' the brand and believe in him.
I was looking for this brand (when I found this show--which I hadn't heard of) and I'm looking forward to seeing them emerge again! Hooray! (p.s. Come back to Vancouver!) :*)

Still wearing my original black "Castro" cap I bought 5yrs ago from the little shop on Queen west here in Toronto. Excellent quality -- a favourite in my wardrobe! :)
