  • merv in the a team?

  • Yep. He had knee surgery after Australia went to South Africa in 1993/1994, and he was trying to use the A-team games to get back in the main side. Unfortunately he broke down about 7 overs into his spell that night and he never appeared again save for a few ACT appearances a few years later.

  • Damien Martyn was captain?

  • Yep.

  • how do you fancy a thrashing in your back yard later this year?

  • He was a South Australian Pace Bowler

  • that batting lineup was like awesome..

  • lmao! someones done a video on here called 'funny england ' or something showing the more comical side to the england team!

  • I remember sneaking off between lessons to follow this game on my pocket radio. England tours don't come much more disasterous than this.

  • All of that Australia A side played for Australia, except Shane George, who I've never heard of.

  • I loved the green and gold outfits a lot more than the gold and green, I even have an Australia A shirt
