This tutorials shows how to delete leftover disabled startup entries in MSCONFIG as well as delete any disabled services you don't want anymore. This is more geared towards Obsessive users like myself that can't stand having files or traces on their computer they don't need.

If you aren't aware of how to alter the startup type of Services or Startup entries please watch my previous two tutorials first:

  • Dude SO MANY THANKS! No one else was paying any attention to the freking blank entries! Thank you so very much! I guess i am like you, i just couldnt stand them just sitting there, looking and me after I disabled them haha. Thanks again and GREAT job!

  • buy it

  • nvm i fix the problem i log in safe mode and enable all the stuff i disabled from the services that was most needed sorry

  • I have no idea what you are talking about. Your trying to install a game but it gives you that error. What service is it referring to? Also what version of the game is that? I heard some emulations of NFS and older versions can be problematic on newer systems mostly due to multi-core CPU's screwing it up. That can generally be resolved by selecting a single affinity for the process to run under though.

  • fuck man how im i gotta restore these the settings i used to had in services when i try to fucking install nfs pro street it says "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it" im fucking pissed off and when i try to go to services it says the same shit i try to start up msconfig and the error i got from before help my ass out

  • I suppose though the logic doesn't make much sense. Generally you will get better performance running a system locally rather then virtually unless you have a pretty good system. Well I am uploading a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 if you want a copy or you can look online for a x32 copy. There are many releases already so no need to wait :P

    Good-Luck!
