@laurensmoothie1: You can argue that the voting in of a black shows there is much more acceptance of the idea amongst the majority of Americans. BUT...I would take issue with the insinuation that racism is somehow going away, and that people don't recognize the propensity of crime minorities have (blacks in particular).
You can dream of a color blind world, but it just isn't going to happen. You can claim 2 plus 2 doesn't equal 4, but it doesn't make it so. Sorry kid.
