Having not flown my F-35 Lightning in quite some time, I decided to get it down and fix the nose gear and fly it one more time. My fix proved not to be permanent as is shown after the landing, so this very well may be the last flight for this plane, unless that is I really dig in and fix it correctly. So here is how it went, and thanks for watching.

  • WHAAAT. Corn in Iowa? Imagine that! :) What is your favorite jet to fly, this F-35?

  • @CrashNburnRC Yeah I know, right? Lots of corn in Iowa. I think my favorite jet is my Airfield F-15, but this F-35 comes in at a close 2nd. Thanks for the comment.

  • Good job, Jeff. Keep churning out the videos, we enjoy them. That was one beautiful flare on that landing.

  • @blackmagic085 Thanks for the 'feel good' comment. lol. And for the compliment on the landing. It's a fun jet to fly.

  • Good to see you flying the F35 again Jeff,it's got an amazing roll rate and seems really responsive. It's a pity about that darned nose wheel though, keep up the good work mate.

  • @semperatis Yeah, I think the nose wheel is the weak point in most of my edf's. Thanks for the comment.

  • Hey Jeff, have you ever tried/seen the MaxJet version of the Exceed F35? I bought one thinking it'd be identical to the Exceed, but it gave me some bad headaches. The plane was really heavy for one, so I had to way overpower it to get it to fly at a decent speed without stalling. I also had individual aileron/elevator (instead of paired like Exceed) and it flew very touchy.

It seems like the Exceed version is a little lighter and smaller; would like to try one.

  • Nice flight. Cut the porno music though.

  • damn nosewheel again huh, get rid of it and belly land on grass !

    Nice job landing Jeff.

  • Nice flying, Jeff. I enjoyed watching you knock off the spider webs. The rolls helped do that job I guess. Love to see more.

  • Good flight Jeff! Nice landing. Always enjoy your videos and yes I read the description every time. Keep up the good work.

  • Great flying Jeff and it's always nice to see one of your videos uploaded mate,i've been flying my Phase 3 EF-16 most of the summer and man i can't get enough of that plane ;-) my PZ Habu is another story though which i've had a couple of knocks with that one ;-( and i'm hoping to put a video up of that soon.

Top landing as that was bang on my friend ;-) = thumbs up.

  • Why not ditch the landing gear altogether and bungee launch it?

  • nice flying and very good landing on the f-35 man, one of my alltime favorite planes :)
