We had a wonderful day in Icy Strait. The weather was beautiful, the seas were calm, the whales were plentiful and the company was awesome. We toured on both a whale watching trip and a bear hunt/island tour with Misty Bay Lodge and from start to finish they were wonderful. I would highly, highly recommend them. We ended up only spotting one bear on the "bear hunt' but it wasn't from lack of trying. We did spot a momma and two cubs on the shore and many a whale.
