In this video the S-Trike & Emotion paraglider are launched, landed and kited all with no hands on the toggles or feet on the steering. With caster on the front landing gear of the S-Trike, low hang points and perfect balance the S-Trike will follow along to inputs from the glider. You can turn the S-Trike on the ground just by turning the glider. This makes lauching incredibly easy and much easier for beginners as they have less to worry about during launch. How it works is they tension the lower trailing edge of the glider. While in flight and under normal pressure the glider maintains it optimal shape. When pressure drops exacly like what happens if the glider surges the trailing edge curls under exactly as though you had pulled some brakes. If the pilot reacts properly to the drop in pressure they will never feel the glider responding. If they do not respond, the glider will make the correct response input for them. This is why the Emotion is so stable it will kite along with the trike without any input at all from the pilot. Yes, sorry about that lol. I was holding the camera with my feet lol. I should have setup my mount, I'll do that and get some more footage shortly. I'll also use the wide angle lense so you can actually see what is really going on. Pretty slick the unit is so stable it will take off, land and kite all without pilot input other than throttle.
