  • Hard to believe but this sound track isn't sung by the man in the movie that is shown singing it! His real name is Erland Van Lidth, he was an opera singer. If you listen closely you will notice it is actually Gene Wilder. Go to 0:38 and when he says angles in heaven it is easier to determine who it is. Gene wilder could sing and they put his song over Erland's voice to be funny.

  • Just found a track listing that says this was dorian holley.....also saw other articles saying it was earland ........some needs to solve this mystery.......it was definately one of them though

  • This was earland singing......i read an old interview where they were talking about him singing it.......its definately a white guys voice where as dorian holley has the typical black soul voice
