Touhou 12 東方星蓮船 - Undefined Fantastic Object (UFO) Demo Stage 1, 2 and 3 Normal

So, i was out of the touhou scene for awhile, i didnt even attempt to finish a good stage 5 run to upload it, so imagine my amazement when i went on shrinemaiden's forums and got told the demo is coming out VERY soon, it made me somewhat come out of my world of warcraft slumber hah.

So yeah, this is touhou UFO, and as you'd guess, its about UFOs as weird as that may be.. touhou games are becoming more and more ridiculous, nuclear power, now UFOs? I dont think even god knows what Zun has in store for us in touhou 13...

Anyways, this is what he came up with, and its awesome as always. The bomb/life/score system is much different, you have to gather UFO items that changes color between red blue and green (some are at a fixed color however) and make a combo of 3 of a specific color, or 3 different colors. This makes UFO appear on your screen and gives you something depending on your combo. 3 red gives you a heart piece, 3 green a bomb piece. As for 3 blues it gives you a lot of score points, and tricolor ones just give you an extra UFO if you let it absorb enough items. If a red or green ufo absorbs enough items, itll give you an extra heartpiece / a full bomb.

I used Marisa in this run, but theres Reimu avaible.. and Sanae, finally a new character to use.

As far as the new music goes, its okay i guess, nothing really amazed me, though the stage3 boss theme is fun.

For the characters, Unzan and Ichirin from stage 3 are awesome, awesome brofists of fury falling from the sky and laser eyes, what else can you ask for? Everyones debating whatever Unzan's truly male on every touhou discussion which is also pretty damn funny considering Zun never put any males in his games.

Heh just noticed this video, Hey what do you use to record anyways, I thought about uploading a replay, but the fps screws over. Anyways, their final spellcards on hard and lunatic are retarded, your right on the dying part too :/

i use fraps and i use windows movie maker to compress the videos. You need a good computer to record videos though, but you can always go in the custom.exe file and put touhou to 16bits instead 32bits. If thats still not enough, what i did on my old computer was to put the framerate to 1/3 as well, it makes the game look choppy, but its almost unnoticable in youtube, check my older videos for some examples compared to this one.

@firesniperbullet2 Sakuya sucks compared to Yumeko I hate her. I hope she never comes back. Oh and the reason she hasn't come back is because nothing has effected the scarlet devil mansion in the new games.
