Capt. Richard Moore, boating law administrator for Florida and past president of the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators invites marine law enforcement to join Operation Dry Water.
Operation Dry Water is a coordinated, national weekend of Boating Under the Influence (BUI) detection and enforcement aimed at reducing the number of alcohol-related accidents and fatalities and fostering a stronger and more visible deterrent to alcohol use on the water.
@rossstamler I am a marine law enforcement officer. I have been able to afford BOTH my boats just fine. I also have plenty of money. But when someone is drowning, or their body needs to be recovered, are you going to do it? I would rather enforce the law and prevent the drowning or death. So that is my job.

Stop harassing boaters. If 17% of boating accidents are related to alcohol than 83% are not. These fu***in cops just want to go boating. Maybe they should have thought of that before they chose their profession, they might have been able to afford their own boat.
