  • Was this filmed at a convention of the living dead? (01:02 - 01:15) I mean if this doesn't get you moving...! Meu deus!

  • Yes, jazz audiences are not famous for showing too much feelings...

  • What I wanted to say is that Lee Ritenour had said once "Joao Bosco is one musician that's able to play complex chords and while he plays them, he sings and is very funny, I didn't saw many musicians like him, playing such chords and dance and sings like he does. Got many repect for him!" It's not me that says that, it was Lee Ritenour who knows what he's talking about. I put this video in one of my playlists, thanks again for sharing it, I'm happy to be able to know the title! BYE !

  • Thank you so much for the comment! I totally agree! He is really awesome!

  • Amazing! Love Joao Bosco! Nao tem pra ninguem!

  • Brasil pra la do fim do mundo....isso ta bom demais.... parabens garoto vc vale muito, uma viola e muita malandragem!! "pra que mais"

  • Some years ago, talking with one of the main bass players with the NY Philharmonic , he said: "To me, Joao Bosco is simply the best in the world. Nobody compares to him."

Listening to this song yesterday, I remembered that. and thought I might totally agree with him. (by the way, I forgot the guy's name, but I remember he had a big white fluffy super cute dog called "Samba". And then I decided that if I ever had a dog, I would call him "Samba". If I ever, that is.

  • @lorenzino1 Thanks a million! I'd appreciate that a lot. I'm sure others who are fans of Latin Jazz would feel the same. :) Can't wait!

  • @aionzeta :Hi, man ! No problems to write the chords for you, I just need some days, to have the time to write to you. To explain well, it'll be a little bit long (for exemple, he doesn't play the chords like we use to play (for some of them), but plays reverses chords (ex : for an E, instead of E-G-B, he plays G-B-E or B-G-E, things like that. I'll write to you a personnal message when I'll can, you can trust me. It's a song that's pleasant to play, perhaps more than to listen to it.Later.BYE

  • @lorenzino1 So what are the chords? They look difficult alright. but can you publish them for us to learn? I'm a novice but this is one song I'll spend weeks to learn. I just love this concert. I had a laserdisc of this once but someone borrowed it and never returned it. Glad there's YT now.

  • Sorry for this late reply...Yeah, I'd like to play it together, that would be a lot of fun! I have only an acoustic piano unfortunately, otherwise I could record it with my computer. All the best!

    Bye!

  • Hi ! It's a pity we can't play this song together, you playing Piano, and me guitar...I'd like to hear (or listen, for me, listening means doing only that, nothing else) you playing it on Piano. Do you have an Acoustic piano or an "electric" one, cause if it's not an acoustic one, perhaps will you be able to record yourself? Now you know that if you record it, you'll have someone that will listen to it and send it to his friends.Learn it on guitar too, you'll see that it's cool to play. BYE !
