mike i hate to tell u but i dont know how old u are but mrs. buford use to go around the the us to schools to talk to kids about not doing drugs an other things not to do, my uncle told me that he meet him before he died plus when they made the one that has the rock in it they has to go thought a lot of red tape with the family.... so if that thats not enough proof for u then look him up on google or yahoo or any other sheach site u use

To me, the greatest B movie ever made. While everyone goes on and on about how it is not historicly accurate, remember, it's not a documentary. I've watched this film over my dad's shoulder when I was a kid. To me, what makes the film great is that everything seems possible in real life. Films these days call for complete suspension of disbelieve. I know Pusser faces very long odds, but he takes huge losses himself. Films now show the hero taking on 100 guys and coming away unscathed.
