Native Americans were not Christians. They were forced to believe in it. Those who refused were brutally murdered.

@zzeynepp18 i agree...the europeans took something beautiful and destroyed it, they've poisoned the food, water and the air we breathe, they have no respect for this land and they never will
-
Europeans know genocide better than any nation, they are the real barbars have believed so called civilization and humanism. They act like innocent people but be sure that everyone knows how evil they are.

@solidfox13 Oh im sorry,i must've mistaken you for somebody that actually knows something about what theyre talking about. It's my 1st great grandmother, and there is Blackfoot Indian in my fathers side of the family that i didnt mention because this is a cherokee video.Unlike you i have a good reason to take great pride in my heritage.its people like you that made this country a hell hole like it is now, always giving negative words instead of embracing the culture and leaving your nose out of it.

greetings from Kirati, native of the Himalayas.
watch this video --- > "Tribute to the Real People of Mother Earth: Native American-N-Himalayas Kirat "
I think all the native of the world must realize their original identity and revive their ancient culture and religion. Today Mother Nature is angry and Mother Earth is dying all attributed to western civilization, globalization and greedy corporation.
Regards,
WayOfTheNativeKirat

Chief Dan George wasn't Cherokee, but he WAS a Chief, from Canada. His writings are a must read for anybody of Indian birth, or even Indian soul. As well as he portrayed the Indian soul in the movies, more so in his writings. When I go west, into the dreamtime, perhaps I'll meet him. So many others waiting too... but I'll have forever, right? Now I have to go learn the Tsalagi way to say Peace up, dudes (and dudettes) Might be a while, my spirit walks a winding road.
-
@JonahtheFigPucker I speak three languages, none fluently. Tsalagi will be number 4. I write fluently, if I type. I play the flute, like the Kokapelli. I know the tunes on the flute, and the English words, now, I will know the Tsalagi words. One day I will translate a song into Tsalagi, perhaps Ode am die Freud, "Joy chorale" from Beethoven's Ninth.
And, I will make it AWESOME! Some vows are easier to keep than others.

I'm Jonah and I have Cherokee relatives. I was not raised in the Nation nor in its ways and don't even know my clan.
I know some names of places in Tennessee and that Grandma Nation was born in Talequah in the Civil War. I will ask the Nation if I may return, when I have more to bring to the feast than a hearty appetite. Or "go west" never knowing my clan, It's up to God.
Zhi-yu , those teaching the language and the culture.
I'm cherokee, yea!!!
