The Rumor

Is it true or isn't it? "The Rumor" is a digital short presented by the Office of Adventist Mission during its report to the Annual Council of the Executive Committee of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The video, which opens with the lines, "This is a false report about a false rumor," takes a "what if" look at the church as it faces declining mission offerings. Warning: This video was designed to shock and generate discussion.

The Adventist church being mission minded I think is one of the most positive things our church does. I believe we need a Church wide hipster movement to get people thinking along those lines again!

If you want more mission money, realign how tithe is distributed to the local churches. When you stop starving the local churches of tithe funds you will free up funds for missions. Get rid of the bureaucracy that has time to make these silly videos.
