With the recent announcement of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, I decided that it might be worth toying with people online for an episode, and have some non-competitive fun for a bit. Turns out, I actually did better with my random Spider-Man teams than my actual team! Perhaps this is a good thing, because once Ultimate drops, there will definitely be a few changes to my squad!

@DocsimusPrime Not after the gunshot, because you can't cancel into that, BUT had I done it after my basic ground chain (cr. L, cr. M, st. H > Lvl 3) I would've had him. Didn't even think about it at the time, but immediately after watching it I realized that was what I needed to do.

Ken you should always be cancelling Spidey's sweep into a special anyway. Also, you need more webthrow in your combos because that move is broken (ie doesn't scale in combos)

@Hazza101 Funny you should mention that, since I started comboing into Web Swing L, I don't have as many problems with the sweep. Next episode I'll be showcasing a new Spidey team I've been toying with.

Spidey got a hell of a boost in Ultimate Marvel. O_O He can now cancel -any- of his moves or attacks into a web based move, (Like doing Spider-sting and then canceling right into either web throw, web ball, or swing) his web swing is faster and barely has that lag of a start up at all, all of his web moves are faster as is his launcher being fast as hell. I haven't seen anything OTG wise with him, and I haven't seen if his sweeping heavy got fixed but so far it seems like they are helping him.
