Gottfried Benn: National Socialist Expressionist Poet

Gottfried Benn was a rare expressionist writer/poet who supported National Socialism. During a live radio cast, Benn stated, "the German workers are better off than ever before," and later signed the Gelöbnis treuester Gefolgschaft, the "vow of most faithful allegiance" to Adolf Hitler.
