[CHAPTER 11] PART 2

*with Nick. this happens while rikki is getting home, etc..*

(Nick starts walking home, slowly, thinking what could she have meant with "I know how you feel" and "I need some time". He was really stressed, and ended asking himself why were girls so complicated, but on his way, he decided he wasn't going home.)

(He entered a Starbucks. He sat down, and asked for an iced coffee. He just sat there and stared at his drink. Occasionally drank some of it. He couldn't stop thinking about Rikki, and now much time would he have to wait. It took him more than 3 hours to finish the iced coffee. Finally, he paid and left. It was 5 o'clock, he hadn't had lunch or eaten anything since breakfast, but he wasn't hungry. So he decided to go to the park.

*At Jonas house*

Kevin: where's Nick? he didn't even come for lunch.
Joe: I'm sure things are better with Rikki, and they're together right now.
Kevin: I don't know, I have a strange feeling.
Joe: maybe it's for the lunch. You ate so much..
Kevin: JOE!
Joe: sorry.. but, c'mon! stop thinking about them. I'm sure everything's ok!
Kevin: how can you be so sure?
Joe: (makes a strange face) I don't know.
Kevin: so you're worried too?!
Joe: yeah. (admitting it)
Kevin: I'm gonna call him.
Joe: wait. And if you're wrong? And you end up spoiling something..?

*With Nick*

(He was about to get to the park, when he receives a phone call, he sees it's Kevin and just ignores it. After that, he decides he has to talk with Rikki again, and starts walking to her house)

*At Jonas house*

Kevin: there's no answer.
Joe: ok. Now I'm REALLY starting to get worried.
Kevin: yeah, he always answers our calls!
Joe: let's ask the girls where are they!
Kevin: I don't think it's the moment to hang out with them! (angrily)
Joe: No! I know, but to ask them where's Rikki, and if Nick is with her.
Kevin: ok, good idea.
Joe: you see.. my ideas are not pointless!

*With Nick*

(he arrives to Rikki's house door, he's about to knock on the door.. but then, he hears inside his head "I need some time right now". He turns around and leaves)

*The conversation between Kevin and Emily [sms]*

Kevin: r u w/ rikki?
Emily: yep, hw did u knw?
Kevin: I had a feeling, bt is nick w/ u?
Emily: no, nd rikki cme bck rlly upset..
Kevin: wow! We hve a prob then.
Emily: he's not bck yet?
Kevin: nope :(
