@tubeholic Without a doubt, mic the speaker up close with a dynamic, and put a condenser about 2 feet back, and it records like a full stack.

Thanks for the comment, man! That champ600 is a sweet little thing, and these few mods make it even sweeter!
Foot is almost healed by now, thanks!

Little secret. Throw together a simple butt-jointed 1/3 open-back pine box (approx 19"x19"x12", ply baffle) with an old jensen P-15, and drive it with this amp with a KT-63 (the tetrode equivalent to a 6v6) and plug a LP Jr in, you will hear what single-ended is all about!

Hey, nice suggestion.
I did use it with a 1x12" and it was awesome. I'm pretty sure it will sound huge with a 1x15" ;)

Great playing. I've got the exact same guitar, but I had to get rid of those Duncans. Replaced them with some Fender Original Vintage (the same ones in the 52 reissue) and MAN does it sing! Hope the foot is better.

Hi! You know what, I actually did love those Duncans :).
I kinda miss that guitar. Still have my sons CV50s tele though and it rocks!

The telecaster and the Champ 600: what a great combination!
I almost bought a champ for my tele, but ended up with a Blues Jr. only for the potential of more power. No regrets, but I'll probably wind up with a champ too someday for practice.
Great sound and great playing, man!

Yes it is! That champ600 is a sweet little amp for your tele, but it'll do beautifully with your Blues Jr. as well.
Thanks for the comment. Cool.
