The Hama-rikyu Gardens were the garden of the Tokugawa Shogunate for a long time until it became a possession of the Imperial Family with the Meiji Restoration. After World War II, it was given to the City of Tokyo, thus became a public park. Though it is located very close busy street it is quite, and you can enjoy trees, flowers and sea breeze from Tokyo Bay.
