@jimbopumbapigsticks but jess was the asskick that rory needed to start again with yale! jess had many problems, but he solved them, on his own, because he didn't want help - like lorelai! i think jess would have been perfect.

Jess was a selfish little douche, and Dean was a clingy boy scout.
Logan may not have been perfect, but he was a good person who made evolved through his mistakes and retained his lovable cockiness while proving that he really loved Rory. He was the best and most three dimensional of her boyfriends, imnsho.
