Today, 23 million children and teenagers are overweight or obese. Thats more than 1 in every 3 young people. Latinos are younger, poorer and more uninsured that other population groups.

Actually, less McDonalds, more exercise. Studies in our city clinics following women and children from the time they arrive in the States, and for several years, shows a sharp increase in obesity within months. It is believed to be caused by the change in diet, easier, faster, aka fast food diet.
