Hi let me start by saying i liked the video. I plan on loc'ing my hair next month, i too have permed hair my last perm was in june. Did u start ya own locs out or did u go to a salon?? Exactly whats the process when loc'ing permed hair?

Did you retain the permed hair because you were afraid of not having length? If so, another option would have been to cut out your perm and add faux loc extensions until you get your desired length over time.
