Vox AC4 vs Orange Tiny Terror. Comparison. Great audio!

Another request! So i made a few clips. Again, I'm never touching anything but the controls on the guitar for the various tones. Just moving the mic to the same placement at each amp.

AC4 setup: 4w cranked with tone at about 2 o'clock. Stock Celestion speaker.

Tiny Terror setup: 15W mode. Gain at about 2 o'clock and tone rolled back tiny bit of noon. Speaker cap is the Orange PPC112 with a single Celestion Vintage 30

Guitar 1: Fender American Standard Stratocaster with CS 69 pickups.

Guitar 2: Gibson Les Paul with Seymour Duncan Antiquities.

Recording setup: Shure SM57 into a E-mu 0404. Software is Audacity.

@CBamProductions Oh its loud enough! Its perfect for small gigs and can really shine on its own. For bigger venues you always mic upp the amps = its still enough even for arena gigs. I use mine live alot and I dont think I've gotten the chance to crank it once...

After a few mods to the AC4 I'm considering doing another video. Wont sound better with high gain though. I'm blaming the small transformers...

one amp is 1000$, one amp is 250$.... which sounds better? Pretty obvious.

Use a Night Train w/greenback cab, then we're apples/apples!

It would have been more interesting if they had used the AC4 head/cab. The head/cab version seems to cure the "boxy" sound that the combo has from the other videos I've seen. Probably partially because the cabinet version uses a 12" Celestion compared to the 6.5"-10" available in the combo.
