This is a piece based on "The Fall of the House of Usher" by Edgar Allen Poe. It is composed by Nikita Koshkin.
This is the first classical guitar piece I ever heard, when I was age 14. My high school friend Chad, who was a budding musician like myself, showed me the video of John Williams playing the part at about 3:38 up through 4:35 which starts with a kind of eerie melody over a recurring bass line. It ends with a large contrast between heavy staccato notes followed by some harmonics. I didn't think about it much until it popped into my head again about age 22. I looked up the John Williams video on Amazon, got it, then watched it again after 8 more years of electric guitar playing. I was instantly hooked! I have been playing solely classical and spanish guitar ever since.
My rendition of this piece has at least 6 mistakes I could count, but it isn't too shabby apart from that. It's a tough piece to play all the way through with no mistakes! I think this might be the first time I have actually recorded this piece all the way through in one take, after 7 years of playing it!

hmm, if you could play the front part of the waltz in a more slow fashion and send it to me, even if it's just a recording with no video it would be fabulous! ^^;....
I like it slow and dreamy... :x Like you're floating through air. And gliding. Hmm...

Sorry, wrong language, congratulations, that's an incredibly hard piece, I have tried a couple of times but have gotten discouraged because it's so hard and long. The Seville Concert video influenced me a lot as well, I see you are well on your way to playing everything on that video. You are doing much better than me on picking hard repertoire and excelling at it.
