  • were you trolling when you cuahgt the tarvs and what lure did u use ?

  • some are caught trolling but if you look you can see that the majority were caught on soft plastics. I mainly use gulps but any reasonable minnow type lure will work ie. lively lures, rapalas, bombers, reidy's etc.

    Good luck with your fishing

  • more then likely haha. i got my first jack next to emphraim island just on the flats.. wasnt near any structure at all.. kind of weird but im not complaining. i get more trevs under soverign then i do jacks anyhow. water temps warming up slowly the herring will be back sooon. nothing beats a livey :)

  • well josh am glad your doing so well there , you will have to continue without me fishing in your pocket for a while. presently i'm up in the gulf of carpentaria fishing my head off (best wild barra so far 91.5cm) so look out for some new video when i get back. Fishing is awesome here.

    cheers and tight lines

  • thanks for telling everyone my jack spot lol

  • hahahahaa.......am glad soverign island is such a small place.maybe we have fished in each others pocket

  • mate nice fish . but btw was that jewie gaffed in the eye! ahahahahaha

  • ahhhh jealous. i have to resort to a stocked barra park in sunshine coast... you really should make an actual video and not just snap shotsss

  • cool video, some awesome catches there!

  • Practice, try new thoughts and ideas, understand the fish you target. Go out with one target species in mind you will always get other species.

Its a numbers game the more you fish the better you will get and the more you will catch.
