@LordEizen Walter tried to find a cure for his own son, wich failed. Then traveled to the other universe, to save the other Peter. When they came back on the lake, the ice broke, and Peter drowned, thats the new timeline.

Remember the episode when both Olivia and Walter are having weird dreams about Peter? He basicly merged into the timeline without his own excistance.

@LordEizen He's dad made it, when he tried to save the Peter in the other universe in this timeline, but Peter died because "The Opserver" didn't saved him from drowning, in this timeline.
