Garbage tv garbage video

this television its better than panasonic viera 50 (not 3d) ?

@dannysees personally, I hate the new "smooth motion" effect in TV's these days. It produces very strange movements that make it look like it was filmed with a cheap camera. Maybe it's just me, but the smoothness is very distracting and unnatural.

I just returned my Panasonic 1080p plasma yesterday for this television, i would have to say the LG is so much better. The only way to get a decent panasonic is to spend at least $2000. Way to go LG on a fantastic product

@Caraecrika I think you wanted one of the "Smooth" motion enhancement modes of some TV sets, usually LCD or LED/LCD.
You need to set up the TV properly also

@Nexerens The movement isn't very detailed like i thought it would. And white screens and large white portions just look bad., for example i started up Forza 3 and the white title screen looked horrible. And as far as movement i was hoping to get movement like in tech demos that you literally think you're there.
On the flip-side im judging based on televised directv HD and the Xbox 360 haven't watched any Blu-Ray yet.

@Nexerens As far as I can tell, it looks great. Plasma's are known for deep blacks. Unless you are sitting 3 feet from it, I've never watched a plasma that didn't have a great picture! Better viewing angles, better motion with higher refresh, better colors than LCD's. I can't figure out why anyone would pay more for an LED/LCD these days. My LG was less expensive than any LCD and much less than LED's...
You could have done with a 60, your room is huge.

@rupert81 I know it looks small in this video, but that's due to the camera lens. The TV actually is bigger when your are sitting there. I've watched Comcast HD and played Xbox 360 games and have no complaints. But remember, I paid ~$800, not $1500...It's NOT the top of the line model. Since I am not playing Blue-ray movies, it works great. I'd rather use the money to upgrade to a good receiver like the Onkyo TX SR608 AV (using HDMI). Great surround sound more than makes up for it!
