In 2007, Huckabee was the Keynote speaker for the far-left NEA's national conference. The NEA opposes private schools and homeschooling while advocating for a federalized curriculum. While governor of Arkansas, Huckabee repealed parts of the Arkansas Homeschoolers Rights Act signed into law by Clinton. This made Arkansas the most hostile state to homeschoolers in the south.
He cut taxes 90 times to save taxpayers 378mil, but he also raised taxes 21 times for an increase of 883mil. Now we subtract 378 from 883 and come up with a total increase of 505mil, someones got to pay for that increase, and I'm guessing it came out of the taxpayers pockets...
Ron Paul is a far better candidate for homeschoolers than Mike Huckabee will ever be
The net effect of any very small tax raises, were negligible. It appears that his tax cuts and inflation more than offset any tax raises! There is no other candidate that is more PRO family.
so huckster, tell me how homeschooling works if you raised taxes 47% during your stay in Arkansas, thus forcing lower income parents to make changes just to support their familys.
I am a post homeschooler and I am voting for Ron Paul!
interesting, Wake up America Vote Ron Paul. America is living in the 51st state , a state the George Bush has put them in, a state of fear. Wake up America stop believing the lies. Start finding out the truth, don't let the government do your thinking for you. Vote for smaller government, less taxation and more freedom. Vote Ron Paul. Ron Paul is better on education and home schooling
