Pokemon Black and White RNG Abuse: Legend/Wild Pokemon Abuse- C GEAR

Hey all, bearsfan092 here with the RNG abuse video for legends and wild Pokemon using C Gear in Pokemon Black and White (Not even a month after its English release to boot :)

It's highly suggested that you find a written guide to this in Smogon's forums, but this video can be used in its own right as the guide.

This video shows me getting a Hidden Power Ice 70 Timid Virizion.

You'll need:
1. RNGreporter thanks to Mingot and Omegadonut
2. EonTimer or ZomgTimer by ToastPlusOne
3. The last 6 digits of your DS's MAC address
4. A synchronizer pokemon

All of the programs above can be found in Smogon's forums. Huge thanks go out to Mingot, OmegaDonut, ToastPlusOne, Kaphotics, and so many more people. These guys are the ones who do the heavy lifting. My job is just to look good on camera.

why is c-gear rnging better than standard rnging?

@TheRealPuchie Personally I can't help you, but if you go on Smogon's homepage, under In Game Mechanics and RNG Mechanics, there's an article on abusing your ID's for the fifth generation.

@bearsfan092drums Ok I got it. I also wanted to know when you catch a Pokemon that you rng that you want specific IVs for it, do you have to catch that Pokemon in a hurry or can take your time during the battle instead of using a Masterball on it?

@StrikingSword4985 Take your time.  The Pokemon's stats are generated pre-battle.

@StrikingSword4985 All the cheats I use originate from gbatemp's usrcheat.dat file. You might need r4cce to open it.
