Aylesbury was once a fascinating manufacturing town: my father, a printer, spoke of Hazel, Watson & Viney (the town's bookbinders) in almost hallowed tones. A girlfriend's Dad was a shopsteward at Rivets, proud to call himself an Aylesbury man. I came to live here in the 70's; the planners had done much damage even then. Now nothing of any consequence is made here: it is a cross between a shopping mall & a dormitory for cockney rejects. I thank the lord I left many years ago. Sic transit gloria.

Nice one - i worked there for nearly 20 years and was still there (in AA) when you shot your vid. My whole family worked there since 1910..... search for rivet and see mine!
