your back should be straight in any of the ways you do the push ups, it must not make an arch, or you'd be throwing your body weight away from your back, besides this could give u a possible injury.... for example when you did it on the bars against the wall u was a couple inches away from falling, you should do more back practices to learn how to control it all by itself

When your feet are against the wall you arch your back way too much. I'm not criticising, I'm just concerned for the welfare of your back.
I do it so that my bum just "grazes" the wall, and my feet barely touch it. Not only harder, but also safer...
