  • Does it do any synth sounds at all? The awesome jabs in the beginning for instance, do they come from the 888?

  • @MrEagleEartwig I actually don't own the Jomox,, these were all sampled into my Akai S1100 and played from there,,, the only other different machine is the TB-303 for the bass, and the Akai S1100 for the lead-melody

  • I considered buying one of these. Sounds cool but way too expensive for me

Which reminds me, how do you rate the Emu XL-7 Command Station?

There's one for sale locally with 3 sound boards

Apparently it has 128 voices of polyphony, a 16 track sequencer with 32 bars each. I'm listening to it now & it sounds a beast. I keep reading negative things about the triggers & effects knobs. It sounds worth the risk from my ears point of view. He's even throwing in some 3.5 volt memory cards

  • @funkb0x You cant go wrong with any product from Emu,, in fact their samplers are one of the best for drums, very fat, very warm. I stand by Emu and Akai for samplers any day, Ensoniq is good too

  • does ALL the song made with this ? thx

  • @siril3 no, just the percussion, the synth was Akai S1100
