@MRFOXXTRAP2012 Ya, well I learned a long time ago not to rely on album credits. The sources I have are pretty legit. For instance on the song Comin Round The Mountain on Hardcore Jollies Billy Cox plays the bass with Eddie and Buddy Miles. This is Boogie for sure, plus this album was thrown together and half of the songs on the album's names were changed

@chiknfulio boogie was not credited on the rest in p album the only 2 bassists listed was bootsy and billy and bootsy's playing was more out there than billy's but then again billy taught an old dog like bootsy some new tricks.l

@EddieHazel74 The only connection I have found between Eddie and Jimi is Red Hot Mama. Jimi heard the original version of Red Hot Mama on Osmium and mentioned it in the song Dolly Dagger where he says "red hot mama you better step aside, this chick's gonna burn you to a block of ice." I would have loved to see Eddie in Jimi's place as the Band of Gypsys. That would have been awesome. The closest we'll have to that is Comin Round The Mountain which has both Buddy miles and Billy Cox

@chiknfulio I belive Band Of Gypsies never played any clubs at all. Maybe in unofficial jams, but as far as offical, schedueled concerts go, They only played 5 concerts. The four BOG shows at the fillmore east from December 31, 1969-January 1, 1970 and the disasterous show at madison square garden on January 28, 1970. Jimi always jammed in the nyc clubs, so i think it's a possiblity that really happened at an unofficial, unrecord jam session at a small nyc club.

because of great music like this, i love the bass guitar.
This is an ass kicking jam! On one of the shots in this video it looks like Eddie is jamming with Jeff Beck? Another great guitarist and one of my favs too.

@Soulman785 It isn't Jeff Beck. That's Ron Bykowski, the "token white devil" of Funkadelic. He played with the 8th Day. A great guitar player. Eddie did cite Jeff Beck as one of his influences though
