    Mehmood gave chance to four new music directors in his life. First was the great R. D. Burman in Chote Nawaab. Then it was Basu-Manohari and Sapan Chakravarthy who were R. D.'s assistants. And last but not least Rajesh Roshan in Kunwara Baap. (Rajesh returned favour by giving chance to Mehmood's son Lucky Ali as a playback singer in superhit movie Kaho Na Pyar Hai.)
