If you are gonna do a bench press, work the core while you're at it and kill two birds with one stone. Get your wind up too. Try this....We encourage you to.
It is not that dangerous if you bench with a weight you can normally do for over 10 reps. I always bench with my legs raised (prevents arching of the back), but I have yet to try it with a weight. I will tomorrow

Dangerous and NOT impressive at the same time. Get a weighted belt and use that around your ankles and put more than 135lbs on the bar.
