This plane is amazing. I have one with an Axi 2814/12 (1390kV), 9x6 prop, and 4 cell lipo. Reinforced the fusalage with some carbon fiber and the wings. It can fly really fast without going into pieces. Top speed of 100 mph. Originally this plane allmost cannot take off. Too weak preinstalled motor and battery.

Ouch! That would have hurt pretty badly if you had been hit.
Filming RC aircraft is difficult ... I suggest the cameraman stands BEHIND the pilot at all times and also that the pilot tries keeping the plane in front of his position ... avoid bringing the plane around your back.

Yup, it woulda. I actually hit the same guy once with an Ultimate biplane foamie. He doesn't move as fast as he used to. I get a fairly wide berth for my t-rex though.

I have this plane, but landing it has nothing to do with the motor power. Here you see the expected result of trying to land under waaaayyy too much power. 1/4 throttle and flare it up gently on approach. Other than a weakly designed front wheel mount this is my favorite model.

Yup, have to agree heartily with the too much power comment. Plus a lack of experience on my part. Was too much plane for me at the time. I also agree with the front wheel being weak. Mine now has a solid plywood block and a fixed wheel.

Hi daveofthenorth, I'm tjjah (of even farther north) I have the same plane and wonder if you are using the supplied power system?

Hi tijah. I am not using the supplied power system, this is a brushless and lipo setup. The included power system will fly the plane, but there won't be much power. The plane is still a great deal, the fiberglas fuselage is really nice.
