Opened August 1, 2008, the new high speed commuter train significantly reduced travel time between Beijing and Tianjin. Take a look at Asia's largest railway station and join me as the train goes over 300km/hour.
@london56 You can buy the ticket when you get there, but depending on the time or date (rush hour/weekend/holidays/etc.), you may not be able to get the next train, but would have to wait a while. We usually purchase the tickets in advance so we don't take the risk and have to wait for hours for the train (which happened once).
It's amazing what you can achieve when you have 1.34 billion people at your disposal and they don't have a say. That's not saying democracy is great, as corruption also exist in that form of government, but the more power a government has the more likely it is corrupt.
Also, I don't give a shit if the motherfucker is a troll or not, all of the below is to anyone that thinks that their country is in some way better than ANY other country or that your race or country is somehow superior to any other race and or country. We don't think that over here in the US, as a matter of fact, we don't give a fuck what you do. Don't label a countries people by what the government does or you just might get your ass kicked in the process. I'm done here..
Tell you what Jyaynyjnyvagina, get on a plane, come over to the US and say what you just said in the middle of times square.. Nobody is scared of the Chinese, you're all a bunch of script kiddie metrosexual douches. The Japanese, they actually contribute good, quality products, the Chinese is the EXACT opposite yet your nation is 100x larger. Things in large quantities aren't always better, I.E Cocaine > chalk, Ferrari > Hyundai, US > China.
A german Siemens Velaro based train, if I may add.
