@soheiljerusalem i know your not going to change your opinion on the fact that everyone in china eats dog meat and i know i can't force you to change that. But since you believe it's everyone , and i believe it's only the poor and rural areas. lets end this pointless debate. i know your not going to change your opinion and i'm not changing mine. But just as a FYI china's setting up a law against animal cruelty. don't know when it's in effect through.

@soheiljerusalem I'm chinese and i own a german shepherd. i think it's cruel too that dog are tortured in china. but people in beijing, and big cities don't enjoy dog meat. i went there this year i asked my relatives and neighbours there is no restaurants that sell dog and cat meat. and even if there is. wealthy people don't eat that, cause why eat dog meat when you can have better stuff. dog meat is for the poor, where dogs are not seen as pet, but as food.

@soheiljerusalem i lived in beijing. there are no restaurant like that. if there is tell me the name of the restaurants. like i said before. dogs and cats are our pets. that's why were so bias. we also hunt bears, seals, japan hunts sharks. people aren't all bitchy about that. we don't have bears seals and sharks as pets so we don't feel all that bad when we hunt them. don't you think that's unfair?

@XxsakusasuxX No it is not about poverty. People in China love dog and cat meat no matter they are poor or wealthy. If it was about poverty the wealthy folks would not eat cat and dog meat while in the poshest and classiest restaurants of Beijing also cat meat is served.
