I have to say, I think Sentinel's ending is the most frightening, because it is a real possibility in our world (minus the giant autonomous military android angle, obviously). It really gets you thinking about how the shortsightedness of mankind's decisions and attempts to dominate and control the world around him can backfire and cost us everything.
A big thanks for posting this. I only got to see two of the character endings when I played this game in the 90's.

Omega Red's ending is a continuation to Cyclops', and so are Samurai and Wolverine's. Kinda dumb, kinda cool.
Psylocke's ending was kind of funny. But Sentinel's... time to pray, people. Spiral sure has vision!

Iceman's ending was so bizarre...
Also, the Mojo sculpture...does that imply that Mojo was a thought for a playable character? that would have been awesome.

It's just a background character.. like in wolverine's ending.. it doesn't mean anything else.
