Spam Fried Rice

My husband and sons rated this 8/10, 9/10, & 9/10!
Definitely worth trying!

I tweaked the recipe a tad:
Ingredients are:
4 c. cooked rice
2 T. Aloha Shoyu
3 green onions
1/2 can peas
1 egg beaten
1 can Spam diced into small cubes
Pam spray

I get it at the local Asian market. I think they might sell it on the international aisle at our local grocery store, too.

If you can't find it, let me know, and I'll give you the brand name and you might be able to find it online. It's really good stuff!

Hii.. I don't know what kind of rice you used.. but if you use Basmati rice, you won't have those annoying lumps in rice.. just a suggestion... nice video :)

hmm interesting recipe, another spam fried rice is first cook a scarmbled egg.. and it must be cut into pieces (something like that) then cook rice then finally add the spam, fry it all together and thats another fried rice (try to put some salt, just a little bit on the egg when cooked)

Just a suggestion, I would fry the egg until it is fully scrambled on the side of the skillet before mixing it in with the rice. Looks delish regardless!! Thanks for uploading.

"how can you mess up fried rice?" that quote reminds me of the time when I was trying to make sushi in college... my rice was not sticky at all, and nothing was holding together, and I said "I think I screwed up somewhere" and my roommate asked me "What, did you accidentally COOK the fish?" lol

I ended up using honey to make the rice stick together (and it was really good honey sushi!)
