That's not true. The Cliveden estate is entirely in Buckinghamshire- it doesn't stretch across the river! The house is in Bucks, look at the National Trust entry for the house if you don't believe me. The house may have a Berkshire postal code, but so does much of south Bucks. Taplow itself is also in Bucks. Von Esses really should fix this mistake.

Cliveden is actually in Buckinghamshire. von Essen can't be very good if they can't get their counties right.

Mpvide65's right- the estate lies entirely in Bucks. Postal counties are now redundant, so it's official address is now Taplow, Bucks. The river forms the boundary between the two counties.

I've stayed at the hotel. Von Essen need to refubish the interior and the rooms which are tatty and very shabby in places.
The Cliveden Estate covers a large area (about 370 acres) so it actually sits in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. The House and Hotel's official address is Taplow, Berkshire.
