so im trying to teach myself how to play bass and one thing i just cant get is finger picking i know people will read that and laugh because how can you be a bass player and not figer pick? anyone i was just looking for some tips as far as that goes thanks P.S. kick ass cover

How i learned finger picking , i started very slow to play some licks with my two fingers and then i build up the speed and than i started to move between the strings. that's basicly how i learned finger picking :)

@BlackEmo15 sounds like another hopeless emo kid is having their period. Without bass in a song there isn't harmony, and it cuts back on rhythm and melody too. Those are the three things that define music. If you're missing bass you're missing quite a bit.
