Ezra Levant vs. audience member (Nov 18/10, Vancouver)

Lawyer and conservative activist Ezra Levant agreed to come to Vancouver to face up against Ben West of the Wilderness Committee. The topic was 'the ethics of oil' - debating the validity of the claims in Ezra's latest book, Ethical Oil, which discusses the Athabasca oil sands.

Close to the beginning of the debate, an audience member shouted that 'what's happening to the Aboriginal people is a Holocaust', which upset Levant, but the debate continued.

Later, during the Q&A, Ben West allowed this same audience member to come up on stage and answer a question on his behalf. The debate turned into a shouting match.

Funny sounds like Ezra is the one hung up on the holocaust and being Jewish. He's playing the holocaust card to stiffle other's peoples' freedom of speech. Ezra also sounds like a racial arsonist who tries to provoke others by calling down other peoples ethnicities or race. I wonder why the Indian guy just didn't go over and kick Ezra's fucking teeth in. Sometimes punks like Ezra deserve an ass kicking.
