Woodpecker & Nuthatch Join Pangea Day

Heard this woodpecker in the woods and I was finally able to triangalate exactly where it was. Meanwhile, I had this gathering swarm of nuthatches and chickadees demanding that I give up my cache of seeds

Hold on a second while I feed this nuthatch...Wow! Amazing how you so nonchalantly zoomed from the woodpecker to the nuthatch. I swear my jaw dropped! I wasn't expecting that! Amazing!!I'm in awe!

Thanks! It was quite a coincidence to be able to line the two up like that. The nuthatches had been following me for a long time. It was a lot of fun to film.

Nice work. I've had nuthatches sit on branches and watch me put out fresh suet. But I've never tried to get them to land on my hand. I think the smaller birds are braver.
