Trying to make some noise on the fretboard and make a decent video, but got discouraged and quit ... but will post anyway ... WTF!

  • @leonoff89 made in korea :)

  • I just bought a tr300 expressionist like yours to replace my beat up Squier P-Bass Special. I am digging it ALOT. They are a real "players" bass! I just adjusted the action a hair and now it has a run friendly fretboard. The tone is somewhere between the highs/mids of a a Jazz and the noiseless lows of the Precision. In other words....you've done well to show the virtues of the model in this vid!

  • Cool, they are nice ... It definitely plays as well as my old American Jazz, but, that's just my opinion. And thanks. :)

  • You're a Grabber!A Grabber opens his fingers way out when they play. The opposite is a Nibbler, which is as little finger movement as possible.John Myung of Dream Theater is a Grabber.Gary Willis,Tribal Tech,is a Nibbler.

  • LOL ... thanks for the edumacation on bass hand styles ... very interesting actually. :)

  • wow, it's the first time I see someone else play like the great John Entwistle ! You should have joined the Who instead of Pino Palladino (who is great but not for Entwisteling)

  • Reminds me a bit of Entwistle playing, awesome job here.

  • @BlackDiogenes1020 Wow, I didn't know that. Thanks for the information, it's very interesting. Happy bass watching.

  • @gr00vybass Entwistle actually had an extremely light touch, contrary to popular belief! He preferred super light gauge strings!

  • sounds great mate. I wish I hadn't sold mine now.

  • @bbBassYo you should check my channel

  • Hi!

Regarding the other comments about this bass: it was the first one I ever had. I played a lot of other basses since then, among them G&L US Basses which are just awesome. This TR-300 Expressionist though is all the way up there, I LOVE it. It plays great and has an absolutely great tone.

Just my thoughts. I am glad there are other people here who like that bass. We should stay in contact. :)
