The fastest Linux install

PCLinuxOS had just released a slim-down version called MiniMe 2008. I installed it on VirtualBox. The whole installation took just a bit over TWO minutes.

So what? It took me 6 minutes to install Win 7 Pro on my SSD. Considering how many more things Win 7 comes with I think it's more impressive.

f you copy the XPUD ISO to a partition and tell grub2 to boot it, it takes as long as grub takes to setup, much faster :)

u exaggerate - i mean: If u have an SSD, i think it doesnt matter u have 2GB or 3 or 4GB of RAM, its always fast. If u have 128mb of ram or 2gb thats a big difference, yes.
