@Fenderprecision51 go for the Rockbass...the newer ones are quality instruments.

@rarebasses I also have a German Vette 5 with passive pickups. I like my Rockabass better. The active pickups really "pop", the weight is a bit less, and the neck feels a tad better.

I have a Corvette 5 in nirvana black with active pickups...sounds fantastic. Neck is on the thick side though.
