This is my song. Summer 2010 had to go to a mental health facility for five days, lost my job ,filed bankruptcy, moved me and my wife and son to my parents, and then my wife leaves me. I stopped believing in God and hoped for death. After a year of deep depression I began to renew my faith. I wanted to know for sure God was real and my life was in his hands. The scriptures warns us not to ask God for a sign so I asked the angels. Immediately after I prayed this I saw 20 shooting stars.

I happened upon this song by accident. I age 7 my father passed from diabetes, over the years other important family members pass away, I try to hide my pain but soon i cant anymore, I forgot about God, fall into drug and alcohol addiction by the start of high school, feel alone and soon live a very self destructive life, and deep down wished to die. Yet after my closest death encounter I survive, my friends help me recover and above all I found God again, because He never left me.

I was the executive producer of this video. I think I still have that note that was left in the book somewhere in my house. Perhaps I should do something with it... Maybe, whomever donates the most to a charity benefitting the OK Tornado victims gets it as a gift... Just thinking out loud.

Yes. It just shows that even when you feel you are completely alone, God provides people to encourage you in your path, whether they be Atheists or fellow Christians. Through that, you are given the opportunity to add another member to the Church of Christ. Praise God for inspirational artists such as The Afters, Newsboys, Building 429, Steve Green, Phil Wickham, Andy Needham Band<, and many others; they show His glory so well.
