Salinas River Theme is the first track off of Ray's Vast Basement's Starvation Under Orange Trees, released in 2007. This is the official Salinas River Theme music video.
This was filmed with Super 8 film in Half Moon Bay and San Francisco.
Great video. Black and White was definitely the way to go with the song. I was expecting for something to pop out and scare the crap out of me. And I love the closeups of the plantlife.
Numinous undertones to this film, replete with an interesting, contrapuntal intertwining of natural bird sounds and melody that's reminiscent of the Sixties post-India Beatles. With the gloomy light, abrupt light transitions, dark thick underbrush, and suspenseful Hitchcock-esque camera shots, and eerie music bed, I kept waiting to stumble on the bodies of the starving victims at the end!
Supposedly along this river on a certain night you will be pushed by a woman entity that saves your life.

Fantastic short clip!! Really great in that it gives me the hee-wee jeebies with the sound track and blurry images.
