How to use the la crosse battery charger, Canon SX1 HD

I like it more than the Canon unit because it discharges batteries, then charges. You don't have to keep track of which ones you've charged if they get mixed up with used ones. Discharging puts 'em all on the same starting line. Takes a day to charge, batteries don't overheat like with the Canon unit. Can keep track of their charge too, and monitor each separately. But for a couple weeks I wasn't using it right and batteries were not charging.
